Offering our Faith • Unguided Retreat

About the Unguided Retreat

The first Saturday in April is set aside to commemorate the founding of NKT–IKBU by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche in 1991.
On this one-day retreat, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we offer him our faith through using the special prayer ‘Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples’ and collecting our Guru’s name mantra.
In this retreat we will be using the sadhana ‘The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra’ and the special request prayer mentioned above. We will conclude the retreat with ‘Offering to the Spiritual Guide’ chanted prayers.

Prayer booklets will be available at the Centre for use during the sessions.

There is no need to book. Please drop in to as many sessions as you wish. If you are planning to attend Offering to the Spiritual Guide chanted prayers you can bring along an optional vegetarian food offering.
