Offering our Faith • Unguided Retreat

About the Unguided Retreat

Every day, we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche, our Root Guru and Founder of the New Kadampa Tradition. But on this auspicious day, we join Kadampa centres around the world for a special retreat.
On this one-day retreat, with minds of rejoicing and gratitude, we offer him our faith through using the special prayer ‘Request to the Holy Spiritual Guide Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso from his Faithful Disciples’ and collecting our Guru’s name mantra.

Prayers are made for the flourishing of Kadam Dharma throughout the world so that all living beings might quickly find permanent inner peace. Above all, we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in founding NKT–IKBU.

In this retreat we will be using the sadhana ‘The Hundreds of Deities of the Joyful Land According to Highest Yoga Tantra’ and the special request prayer mentioned above.

Prayer booklets will be available at the Centre for use during the sessions.
