About the Course

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind calm and peaceful so that we can experience real happiness, free from any worry, pain or mental discomfort. Meditation is simple and everyone can learn, no matter how busy life is or how distracted one’s mind may be.

In this course, learn the essentials of meditation as well as how to improve and sustain your meditation practice in the long-term. Through regularly applying these techniques, you will discover something extraordinary: when the turbulence of distracting thoughts subsides and your mind becomes still, a deep happiness and contentment naturally arises from within.

Cost

Vegetarian lunch and refreshments are provided. Vegan and gluten-free options available.

Standard: $65

Venue & Parking

The Centre is located close to the Nairnville Recreation Centre. There is street parking available in the surrounding streets (including Calcutta St). Please do not park on Ardross Avenue as parking spaces are very limited and reserved for the residents on that street.

Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington has been relocated to Khandallah, in a tranquil and lush location yet close to public transport and parking. Our new address is 2 Ardross Avenue.
