ABOUT THE COURSE

Transcend worry and stress and learn how to enjoy your life with confidence.

On this day course discover how to unlearn the bad mental habit of worrying and become calmer and happier. Problems, worry, anxiety and unhappiness are no more than negative thinking; they are feelings and do not exist outside the mind. Through training in meditation and mindfulness, we learn to control our thoughts and let go of negative, self-defeating minds.

Kelsang Shechog will also explain how meditation empowers us to access a deeper sense of inner peace, happiness and well-being that does not depend upon external conditions. We will learn to respond to every situation in a positive, constructive manner and live without fear, enjoying every moment of our life. Everyone welcome – suitable for beginners as well as those who already have some meditation experience.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Kelsang Shechog is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington. She has dedicated her life to helping people solve their problems and find happiness through Buddha’s timeless instructions.

Shechog has spent many years developing Kadampa Meditation Centres where she has inspired many people through her kindness and loving example. Shechog is much loved for her gentle manner, inner strength and clear, skillful teachings.
