Post New Zealand Festival Retreat
22 – 24 January, 2019
with Kelsang Luma
ABOUT THE RETREAT
Love is the true protector – protecting us from negative states of mind and fear, and it is the foundation of all spiritual realisations. By improving our love we become a good natured and good hearted person which leads to harmony in our relationships, our society, and our world.
On this meditation retreat we will be focusing on meditations on loving kindness and relying upon Buddha Maitreya – the Buddha of loving kindness.
“It is said that there exists a magic crystal that has the power to purify any liquid it is placed in. Those who cherish all living beings are like this crystal – by their very presence they remove negativity from the world and give back love and kindness.”
– Geshe Kelsang Gyatso (Transform Your Life)
The retreat will be based upon the teachings at the New Zealand NKT Festival 2019, but it is not necessary to have attended this Festival to attend this retreat. More details on the Festival at https://www.nzfestival.org
The retreat will start on Tuesday morning and finish at lunch on Thursday.
