Prayers for World Peace • Liberation from Sorrow

About the Practice

On Sunday 6th March at 2pm there will be special prayers for world peace held at Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington.

Join us as we recite Liberation from Sorrow, Prayers and Requests to the 21 Taras and deeply request the Blessed Mother to bestow her blessings on all living beings so that all suffering and other obstacles are quickly removed.

Green Tara (the Blessed Mother) is a female Buddha, who’s name means “Rescuer”. She is it embodiment of swift compassion.

Please feel warmly invited to join us in-person or online. If you are tuning in online you may wish to purchase the prayer booklet from Tharpa so you can follow along.
