Kelsang LachpaMeditation TeacherKelsang Lachpa is a New Zealand Buddhist monk, ordained for over ten years, and the Education Programme Coordinator at our Centre. He is an experienced and warm-hearted teacher, inspiring others to find lasting peace and happiness through the practice of meditation and Buddhism. Lachpa is known for his thoughtful insights into Buddha’s teachings and his joyful practical approach to teaching. Lachpa teaches the Island Bay evening class, The Terrace after-work class and the Lower Hutt evening class.
Rachael SteeleMeditation TeacherRachael is a heartfelt Buddhist practitioner who has been studying Buddha’s teachings and practising meditation for many years. As a mother in a modern busy world she has a skilful way of making meditation accessible and relevant in our everyday lives and is known for her joyful and sincere presentation of Buddha’s teachings. Rachael is the Administration Director at our Centre. She teaches the Kapiti evening class.

$60 | unwaged $48 (FREE for Centre Members). Includes refreshments.
There will be break for lunch from 12.30pm to 1.30pm. You are welcome to bring your own vegetarian lunch to enjoy at our Meditation Centre, or take a short stroll to enjoy the nearby Island Bay cafes.
