2024 New Zealand Festival

Join us at the 2024 New Zealand Festival, where Gen-la Kelsang Kunsang will grant the empowerment of the great Dharma Protector Dorje Shugden and give teachings on Heart Jewel. This Festival is our special spiritual holiday and a wonderful opportunity to experience the transformative power of Kadam Dharma with our national Sangha community.

Blessing Empowerment of Dorje Shugden

Who is Dorje Shugden?

Dorje Shugden is an emanation of the Wisdom Buddha Manjushri whose sole purpose is to eliminate the outer and inner obstacles to our spiritual path. By attending this Festival and receiving the empowerment you will deepen your connection with this powerful protector and invite his blessings into your life.

What is an empowerment?

An empowerment is a blissful guided meditation through which we make a deep connection with this inspiring Buddha and receive his healing, joyful and protective blessings.

Teachings on Heart Jewel

Gen-la Kunsang will also give a commentary to Heart Jewel, the Guru Yoga of Je Tsongkhapa and the heart practice of the New Kadampa Tradition. This practice creates perfect conditions for our spiritual life and deepens our connection with our dear Spiritual Guide, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
