The Way of Wisdom • New Zealand Festival 2021

About the Festival

Empowerment of Buddha Prajnaparamita and teachings on the Three Principal Aspects of the Path.
During this special event, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab will grant the empowerment of The Great Mother Prajnaparamita. An empowerment is a special transmission of insight and experience – a beautiful guided meditation during which we receive the blessings of a particular enlightened being. Meeting Prajnaparamita and receiving her empowering blessings will ignite our own inner light of wisdom, so that we become a truly beneficial being in this world.
Following the empowerment, Gen-la will give teachings on ‘The Three Principal Aspects of the Path’, a timeless text composed by Je Tsongkhapa and carefully translated by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso in his book ‘The Mirror of Dharma with Additions’. By taking these teachings to heart, we can realise Buddha’s ultimate view, and become an enlightened being ourself.
