New Year’s Eve • Talk, Meditation & Special Celebration

About the Celebration

Join us at the Centre to conclude 2023 with a peaceful and positive mind, and to begin 2024 with an inspired and loving heart.

Buddhist monk Kelsang Lachpa, the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington, will lead the evening with a reflective talk, explaining the essential Buddhist wisdom for a happy life. Positive mindsets create a world of possibilities. Discover the freedom we have to make 2024 meaningful and happy.

Following this, enjoy one another’s company over homemade pizza, refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages. For those who wish to bring in the new year with us, from 11pm we will be engaging in beautiful and uplifting chanted prayers and mantras for world peace to Buddha Green Tara.
