Learn to Meditate • Part 3 • Cancelled

Our sincere apologies but this course is no longer running.

We will be running this series next year so please keep an eye on our website for the dates.

Advanced Meditation and Overcoming Obstacles

In this series you will learn:
~ what is pure concentration and how to develop it
~ a special method to improve your concentration
~ how to overcome the obstacles to flawless meditation

Our mind is extremely powerful, endlessly creating our experiences, but until we develop concentration we have no means to harness our mind’s power and use it to deeply transform our life. By training in concentration, we will develop greater peace in our mind, have fewer distractions, experience greater contentment, and we will be able to focus freely on whatever we wish, creating extraordinary change in our lives.
Training in concentration is an essential part of meditation. In this course we will learn how to identify and overcome the various obstacles to improving your concentration and in this way we can confidently and swiftly make progress in our meditation practice.

“Meditation is a mind that is single-pointedly focused on a virtuous object and whose function is to make the mind peaceful and calm”
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso

This course includes teachings, guided meditations and Q&A. No experience necessary, everybody welcome!

This is the third part in the learn to meditate mini-series, but don’t worry if you missed the first two parts – you’re very welcome to join us!
