Learn to Meditate • Part 2 • Progress • 21 & 28 Oct

Making Progress in Meditation

In this series you will learn:
~ how to train in the two stages of meditation
~ essential advice on how to make your meditations more effective
~ the various objects of meditation
~ how to train in the mind of cherishing love inside and outside of meditation
~ how to keep a peaceful mind in daily life

Meditation enables us to develop and maintain a peaceful, happy mind regardless of our external conditions. But in order for us to experience the full benefits of meditation we need instructions on how to meditate correctly.
Kelsang Pagma will explain the two essential stages of meditation – analytical and placement. Training in these two stages of meditation will enable you to develop confidence in your meditation practice and in your ability to transform your mind from unpeaceful to peaceful. In this course, you will discover how to meditate effectively, focusing on the profound practice of cherishing love. Buddha taught that cultivating this mind of cherishing love is the most powerful way to resolve personal challenges and find true happiness.

“If our mind is peaceful all the time, we will be happy all the time”
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
