Heruka Body Mandala ~ Unguided Retreat

About the Unguided Retreat

To lead all living beings to the supreme happiness of enlightenment, all the Buddhas’ compassion appears in the form of Heruka. Through relying on Heruka with faith we will attain the realisation of the union of great bliss and emptiness, which is the actual quick path to enlightenment. The purpose of meditating on Heruka body mandala is to receive the powerful blessings of Buddha Heruka and his retinue within our channels and drops. Through these blessings we can be freed from any obstacles within our channels and drops, and our meditation on the central channel, indestructible drop and indestructible wind and mind will be successful. Because of this we shall easily develop and make progress in the five stages of completion stage, and through this fulfil our final goal.
Please note: *You must have received the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments of Heruka and Vajrayogini to attend this retreat.

The sadhana that will be used for the retreat is “New Essence of Vajrayana.” This prayer can be found in the back of the second edition of the book by the same name. It is available for download from Tharpa here.

There will be silence observed at the Centre from early morning until the end of session two
