A different topic, or series, is taught every few weeks. See below for topics and dates.

Class Format

Each class begins with a simple guided meditation to make the mind peaceful and let go of distractions. The teacher will then give a talk based on the class topic, and explain how we can integrate beneficial ways of thinking into our busy daily lives. The class concludes with a second meditation so that we are confident to practise on our own.

Afterwards, there is an opportunity for questions and refreshments.

Topics & Dates

Happiness and suffering are feelings – parts of our mind – and so their main causes are not to be found outside the mind. In this series we will gain a deep insight into our mind and discover how an understanding of its nature and functions can be used practically in everyday experience to improve our lives.
Learn how to be happy and content in our modern ever-changing lives. Discover that difficult people and situations have no real power to cause us problems, but can even help us develop real peace of mind.

Venue & Parking

The Centre is located close to the Nairnville Recreation Centre. There is street parking available in the surrounding streets (including Calcutta St). Please do not park on Ardross Avenue as praking spaces are very limited and reserved for the residents on that street.
