Michele is a warm-hearted teacher and an experienced meditation practitioner who has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for more than 12 years. She brings to her teachings a sincere interest in helping others and a clear and insightful understanding of how meditation and mindfulness can improve our daily life. Michele teaches the Kapiti daytime class.

Unfortunately these classes are unable to run during Level 2. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please join us in-person at our Centre in Island Bay on a Monday evening or Friday mid-morning, or in Kapiti on a Wednesday midday. Alternatively, tune-in online (live or replay).
Suitable for everyone, these walk-in classes offer practical methods to help everyone find inner peace, happiness and well-being through meditation and Buddhist wisdom. Each class is self-contained so you can drop-in any week. Beginners welcome.
Afterwards, there is an opportunity for questions and refreshments.

Life…. work hard, save money, try to find meaning in relationships, search for ‘happy ever after’. After a few years or decades, that formula doesn’t seem to be working. Is it broken? In our increasingly uncertain world are we beginning to feel purposeless and lost? If we combine our normal daily life with Buddha’s teachings on inner peace we will wake each day with renewed enthusiasm, content in the knowledge that we are actively progressing towards happiness, regardless of the circumstances of our life. This course will reveal how to transform daily life into the path to happiness, giving every moment direction and meaning.
