Jane is an experienced and dedicated Kadampa practitioner and meditator, who teaches with great warmth and sincerity. Her teachings are extremely practical, making it easy for students to apply the instructions in daily life. Jane teaches the daytime Island Bay class.

Suitable for everyone, these walk-in classes offer practical methods to help everyone find inner peace, happiness and well-being through meditation and Buddhist wisdom. Each class is self-contained so you can drop-in any week. Beginners welcome.
Cost
$12 (unwaged $8) | Free for Centre Members
Class Format
Each class begins with a guided breathing meditation to help settle the mind, let go of distractions and cultivate inner peace. The teacher will then give a talk based on the topic of the class series and explain how we can integrate beneficial ways of thinking into our busy daily lives. The class concludes with a second guided meditation so that we are confident to begin practising on our own.
Afterwards, there is an opportunity for questions and discussion and a chance to talk to the teacher.
