Buddha’s Return from Heaven Day Celebration ~ Offering to the Spiritual Guide with Tsog

September 22 is Buddha’s Return from Heaven Day. On this day we celebrate Buddha’s return from the desire god realm called Land of the Thirty-three Heavens, where he had been to visit his mother who had been reborn there. On this day we should especially remember Buddha’s kindness.
To celebrate, we will be holding a special session of Offering to the Spiritual Guide.

About the Ceremony

Offering to the Spiritual Guide are beautiful and meaningful chanted prayers sung in English that guide us along all the practices of the stages of the spiritual path.

This practice includes a tsog offering so you can bring a vegetarian food offering with you if you wish.

Venue & Parking

The Centre is located close to the Nairnville Recreation Centre. There is street parking available in the surrounding streets (including Calcutta St). Please do not park on Ardross Avenue as parking spaces are very limited and reserved for the residents on that street.

Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington has been relocated to Khandallah, in a tranquil and lush location yet close to public transport and parking. Our new address is 2 Ardross Avenue.
