After-Work Learn to Meditate Classes
Four-Week Drop-in Courses

Tuesdays  5.30 – 6.30pm

with meditation teacher Eve Pleydell

Location: St Andrew’s Centre, 30 The Terrace

These courses provide a great introduction to meditation and an opportunity to learn simple mindfulness techniques to overcome stress and worry, and to experience more happiness and joy. We recommend attending all four classes, however it is fine to drop-in any week as each class is self-contained. These classes are suitable for everyone, beginners welcome.

Course Fee: $40 for the 4-week series or $13 per class | Free for Centre Members

Class Format

Each class begins with a guided breathing meditation to help settle the mind, let go of distractions and cultivate inner peace. The teacher will then give a talk based on the topic of the class series and explain how we can integrate beneficial ways of thinking into our busy daily lives. The class concludes with a second guided meditation so that we are confident to begin practising on our own.

Afterwards there is opportunity for questions and discussion, and a chance to talk to the teacher.
