Suitable for everyone, these walk-in classes offer practical methods to help everyone find inner peace, happiness and well-being through meditation and Buddhist wisdom. Each class is self-contained so you can drop-in any week. Beginners welcome.
A Life Without Stress: November 19, 26, December 3, 10 & 17
Through the practice of meditation we can let go of stress, transform difficult situations into opportunities for growth, and become the person we want to be. In this course we will receive simple and practical advice on how to use meditation and mindfulness to live a life without stress.
Each class begins with a guided breathing meditation to help settle the mind, let go of distractions and cultivate inner peace. The teacher will then give a talk based on the topic of the class series and explain how we can integrate beneficial ways of thinking into our busy daily lives. The class concludes with a second guided meditation so that we are confident to begin practising on our own.
Afterwards, there is an opportunity for questions and discussion, and a chance to talk to the teacher.
