The Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni
Awaken the Buddha Within
Sunday, 20 May • 10am – 5pm
with Resident Teacher Kelsang Shechog

In a world where stress, depression and dissatisfaction are increasingly common, we often experience a lot of unhappiness and see ourselves as limited and ordinary. It is this limited view of our self that is the source of all our suffering, discouragement and problems. According to Buddha, everybody has the potential for lasting happiness, limitless good qualities and inner strength. All we need to do is free our mind from the negativities that obscure this pure potential.

At this special event, Kelsang Shechog will grant the blessing empowerment of Buddha Shakyamuni, the founder of Buddhism. Shechog will also give instructions on how we can make a special connection with Buddha and through this discover the power within our mind and our own pure potential. We will then be on a journey of inner transformation, our life will become increasingly joyful and we will ultimately experience the limitless happiness we have always wished for.

Kelsang Shechog is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington. She has dedicated her life to helping people solve their problems and find happiness through Buddha’s timeless instructions.

Shechog has spent many years developing Kadampa Meditation Centres where she has inspired many people through her kindness and loving example. Shechog is much loved for her gentle manner, inner strength and clear, skillful teachings.
