Becoming a Buddhist • Meditation Workshop
with Kelsang Shechog
Saturday, 8 September • 9.30am – 12.45pm

ABOUT THE COURSE

Buddhism is the practice of Buddha’s teachings, also known as Dharma. Suffering is a state of mind, and Buddha’s teachings explain how to overcome states of mind that cause suffering.

On this course we will learn how we can form a strong foundation for our spiritual practice and quickly make progress on the paths to permanent freedom from suffering by sincerely going for refuge to Buddha, Dharma and Sangha.

For those that are interested, there will be a Buddhist Refuge Vow Ceremony on Thursday, 13 September.
