HOW TO STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS – MORNING COURSE

In-Person & Online, Saturday 31 October, 9.45am – 1pm

ABOUT THE COURSE

How often do we compare our self to others? Inevitably our comparisons lead to painful feelings of jealousy, envy and inadequacy and leave us with a sense that our life should be better or different. This can become a bad mental habit affecting both our self-esteem and our relationships with others.

On this course we will explore teachings and meditations that enable us to keep a positive and peaceful mind, giving us the strength to overcome such negative responses as jealousy, competitiveness and discouragement.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Kelsang Shechog is a Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington. Shechog has been practising and teaching Kadampa Buddhism for over 16 years.
