Join international visiting teacher and Kadampa Buddhist monk, Gen Kelsang Dornying, for this special workshop.
Mantra means ‘mind protection’. It is the supreme method to purify and enhance the qualities of our body and mind. For centuries mantra recitation has been used to pacify the negative thoughts that give rise to suffering and thereby attain a peaceful mind. In this course Gen Kelsang Dornying will explain the meaning of mantra and give instructions on how to combine mantra recitation with breathing meditation. This is a simple and powerful method to attain a calm, controlled and positive mind and ultimately it is a cause of the supreme inner peace of enlightenment.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Gen Kelsang Dornying is an English Buddhist monk and the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Melbourne. He has been teaching Kadam Dharma in Australia for over 14 years. He is an inspiring and light-hearted teacher of modern Buddhism who makes Buddha’s teachings clear, accessible and applicable to modern life.
