ABOUT THE COURSE

Fear and anxiety are one of the biggest internal struggles faced by people in modern day society. How can we discover freedom from these troubling states of mind in a world that is chaotic and filled with uncertainty?

Learn how to use meditation and practical application of Buddha’s teachings on the mind to overcome these negative emotions. By developing and improving our peace of mind in this way, there will be no opportunity for fear and worry to disturb us, and we will come to experience the inner strength and joy that we all wish for. This course is suitable for everyone.

ABOUT THE TEACHER

Kelsang Shechog is the Resident Teacher of Kadampa Meditation Centre Wellington. She has dedicated her life to helping people solve their problems and find happiness through Buddha’s timeless instructions.

Shechog has spent many years developing Kadampa Meditation Centres where she has inspired many people through her kindness and loving example. Shechog is much loved for her gentle manner, inner strength and clear, skillful teachings.

$60 | Course is free for Supporting members and above – includes refreshments

This course will consist of guided meditation sessions with breaks for lunch and refreshments. Refreshments are provided, however bring our own lunch to enjoy at our Meditation Centre or take a short stroll to enjoy the nearby Island Bay cafes.
